The accreditation for the media will be conducted at the Media Accreditation Centre at the Main Media Hotel for WU 2009 in downtown Harbin.
The procedures are as follows:
● Arrival at the Accreditation Center
● Confirmation of identity and presentation of passport and national press accreditation card (journalist certificate)
● Registration and confirmation of possible information change
● Taking photos (only when no photos or disqualified photos are provided. The photo is digital with specification of32mm×38mm, resolution of 130dpi/inch and white background)
● Printing of the accreditation card
● Approval and confirmation of the accreditation card by official from Press Commission of FISU
● Accreditation card will be laminated, registered and delivered
TransportHarbin OC will provide all accredited media journalists with the following transport services during the event:
● Transport service for journalists'arrival and departure within Harbin
● Regular shuttle buses from the Media Hotels to the Press Centers and competition venues, as well as designated
buses and trains to Yabuli and Maoershan Ski Resorts will be arranged for free● Accredited journalists can take the public transportation in Harbin free of charge by presenting their accreditation cards
● Booking and confirming air or train tickets departing Harbin for journalists
Accommodation
The accredited media journalists of WU 2009 will be accommodated at the designated hotels for the media.
HarbinThere are four Media Hotels in Harbin: Wanda Sofitel Harbin (5-star), New Paris Hotel (4-star), Tongxin Hotel (3-star) andHeilongjiang Zhaosheng Kaoshi Hotel (3-star). Wanda Sofitel Harbin is the Main Media Hotel.Media Production Team HotelNongken Hotel, located in Xiangfang District of Harbin, can accommodate 400 people. Media production teams from home and abroad will be mainly accommodated there.
Yabuli Ski ResortMedia production staff of snow events will be mainly accommodated in the International Broadcast Center.
